The film is a personal story, based on director’s experiences of growing up in close contact with nature, both wonderful and terrible. The picture depicts in the most realistic way adolescence and how it determines the later stages of life. The film draws you inside the everyday life of a fishing village, filled with dullness, naturalism and melancholy mood. It is a journey to a reality full of sadness and loss.

 

The film has won over 30 international awards and accolades.
