Greenland – photo exhibition by Carsten Egevang

Greenland – Carsten Egevang photo exhibition

18 – 30 November 2017

Lobby, Neophilology Building UG

Greenland is a far and exotic country for most Poles. The photographs by the Danish biologist Carsten Egevang, presenting the nature of Greenland and the lives of its inhabitants, have inspired people to notice the atmosphere and beauty of this largest island of the world.
The photographs depict the everyday life of the Inuit, with raw nature in the background. Pictures from dog sled expeditions, kayak hunting, and fishing provide an exceptional testimony to the tradition that today faces modernity.
